Great Budget Hammocks Part 7

I have reviewed several hammocks since I started this blog page.  One hammock remains my daily user even after all the other hammocks that I have reviewed: the Legit Camping Double Hammock and Straps.  This is also the only hammock that I purchased at full retail value.  Let me begin by explaining why I like this hammock so much.

Here is Why I Love the Legit Camping Hammock

The first reason that I love this hammock is because it is a high quality hammock with triple stitching and sturdy materials.  Truthfully this does not set this hammock apart from the crowd of hammocks that I tested though because most of the hammocks I tested where very high quality too.  The straps are rope straps for the hammock, but they come with a sleeve to protect the tree’s bark.  In someways this type of strap is actually easier to use.  The thing that I really like about this hammock is it’s size.  It’s not too big, and it’s not too small, but just right!  It is a light weight hammock that is big enough to lay at an angle, but not too big that you get lost in the material.  This has happened to me a couple of times with other hammocks.

The Customer Service is Amazing

The other reason that I absolutely love this hammock is because it comes with a great warranty, and I do not have a doubt in the world that Legit Camping will honor this warranty if something happens to my hammock.  The customer service is above top notch, and I would highly recommend buying the Legit Camping Double Camping Hammock and Straps on sale right now on Amazon for $45!

Yes I am back again talking about hammocks (and I am not finished either).  I am so addicted to hammocking that I often lay in bed at night wishing that I was outside swinging in a hammock.  Yes they are that awesome.  Today I am excited to introduce you to a great value hammock that is also very high quality.

Introducing the Vitae Double Hammock and Straps

The Vitae Hammock comes in four colors: Red, Blue, Orange, and Lime Green.  The first three are $39 and the Lime Green comes in at $49, but hey the extra coolness of Lime Green is worth the extra $10.  These are double hammocks, and they really is enough room for two.  Many companies claim that they are double hammocks, but I would consider them singles.  The Hammock and Straps are rated to hold up to 400lbs, and although I didn't test this, I have no doubt because of the quality of this hammock.  

Some of the features that sets the Vitae Hammock apart from others is that this hammock comes with a compression strap to reduce the footprint of the storage bag, which is very important when hiking because every inch matters.  It also comes with a great set of straps.  The straps are similar to the Youphoria and Two Rivers Straps that I previously reviewed.  They are plenty long enough in case you just can't find trees at the recommended 10 feet apart, and they have multiple loops which makes height adjustments easy as pie.  Lastly the hammock even comes with a Magnesium Fire Starter.  The customer service with this company is just excellent!

Speaking of Customer service, I dealt directly with the sellers and all I can say is that they are awesome!  They are very helpful and stand behind their customers.  This is one big advantage of buying from these smaller hammock companies is that the owners are great to work with and they care about their product. Oh and of course you save a ton of money for a hammock that is just as good, if not better, than the more expensive hammocks.
