The Chill Gorilla Silverback Hammock and Hammock Strap combo is an amazing deal at $39.99.  I have reviewed hammock combos around this price range before, but there are several things about the Silverback hammock that really sets it apart from the competition.  

First is the size of this hammock!  The Silverback is 4.7 sq ft larger than it’s competitor’s hammocks, including the much more expensive name brand hammocks.  You will see in my video review that this hammock almost touches the two trees that I use for most of my reviews.  Most of the other hammocks that I have reviewed does not even come close to the trees.

The next thing that sets the silverback hammock apart is the nylon straps that it uses at the ends of the hammocks that the carabiner is connected to.  All of the other hammocks that I have reviewed uses rope.  This helps this hammock with its amazing over 600 lbs weight rating.  

Finally the hammock straps for this combo are really great straps.  This is the area that some hammock combos really skimp, but not Chill Gorilla.  These straps have a weight limit of 700 lbs each.  They also have 15 loops and 10 ft long for each strap so they are very adjustable.

Two Awesome Chairs!

Arcadia Outfitters really hit the nail on the head with the two Montara chairs!  They are light and versatile enough to take with you on a hike, but comfortable enough that you will also want to take them to a soccer game.  This is not true of my old hiking stool.  I am sure that you can relate if you are an avid hiker.  Sitting on my old camping stool kept my rear end off the ground, and that is about all I can say for that stool.  These chairs are very comfortable, and comparable to the higher end, more expensive camping chairs.  Arcadia Outfitters have two options to choose from:

The Montara EasyChair

The Montara EasyChair weighs only 2.5 pounds and  the frame is made of Aluminum Alloy.  The frame on the EasyChair is a little thicker than the EasyLounger, but the chair itself is not has big.  The seat on the chair is made of a thick canvas, and has mesh on the bottom and back of the seat for increased ventilation.  You can purchase the chair through Amazon here: Click Here

The Montara EasyLounger

The Montara EasyLounger also weighs only 2.5 pounds and  the frame is also made of Aluminum Alloy.  I have stated that the EasyLounger is like taking your recliner camping with you.  The key to this chair being more comfortable is that you will need to prop your feet up on a log, or something convenient.  The EasyLounger has a higher back and a built in pillow at the top.  It also has a little different feet that will give you extra support.  It does not have the mesh on the back, but does have mesh on the seat for extra ventilation.  You can purchase the chair through Amazon here: Click Here
